It saddens me how a great number of people have been and are influenced not only by others, but, social media as well. Way before social media there was and still is word of mouth, fake news, and gossip columns that have evolved to Blogs which makes it hard for some credible Bloggers like myself. If it sounds convincing, spoken with eloquence and intellectual speech, some people are convinced that what's being spoken is true without questioning its validity.
Now with the influx of social media apps and streaming platforms, average everyday individuals have one, a few, and sometimes multiple accounts with the total intent of spewing the afore mentioned in the first paragraph, convincing themselves and a plethora of others that what they say, no matter whom it pertains to is true. Some even create beyond false narratives, they create false truths which is now referred to as 'your truth'.
You will hear or have heard this term used in society quite often over the past 3 to 5 years which has validated people in not only believing and living their lies, but, now telling them as truth to impressionable, vulnerable, and unsuspecting individuals whom either revel in hurt from being hurt, or appeal to what sounds good within the immature stages of their healing. These type of people are the cells for lies to be spread within a Matrix that consumes beyond its capacity, causing implosions of false rhetoric among masses of people who share the like of mindless literature, media, and spoken word.
What an insightful yet dangerous and sad society we all live in that make up this thing we call the 'World'; people who don't think for themselves by taking on the beliefs and ideologies of others due to lack of knowing who they are. I used to be one of the people I speak of until I learned to listen to the urging inside of me that became a nagging as I questioned things I had either been afraid to, or, didn't know that I could.
Once I began to question and ask questions, things became clear that I was being taught redundant fallicies and I wanted no parts of it. I wanted to know the truth of; how I came to exist, who was responsible for it, why did I need to exist, did they need me, do I need them, who is this person or being, where are they and why are there other people here on this thing called Earth? So many questions asked, am asking, and will continue to ask. The answers I've ever needed or received were never given by a human. They were confirmed by one, but, never given one. I'm 52 and just now learning who I am, not who people say I am, but who I was created to be beyond things I have imagined. The freedom of finally living not 'my' truth, but 'The' Truth, is Freedom indeed. Know who you are.#thatsurthurty
