Social Media has taken over and become a past time as well as passive income for some. Some people have become caught up in gaining a lot of followers and/or subscribers to build their account platform, but tend to forget about those same followers and subscribers whose numbers have been used to built said account platform. They either don't follow back and/or engage in their Followers content. It's been my experience that people most would follow me first, I follow them back, engage their content, but have only an occasional like or emoji from them, to no engagement at all.
There was a time that I thought my content wasn't consistent until I looked at all my accounts to see that I had been, was, and continue to be. It's not all over the place, I have a niche'........encouragement. From my main Blog page to my YouTube Channel, the message may cover a different genre' or subject matter, yet, the message of encouragement is consistent.
There have been a few times that I have scanned through my accounts and deleted the accounts that didn't engage mine. Some of those accounts I didn't even recognize or remember any more so it was easy, yet tedious to delete those accounts. I've always utilized social media as a resource with a purpose, even though I haven't always received the response I believed some of my post or videos should have. They received what they were and were not supposed to. Purpose isn't planned, it's fulfilled, so if I only have 50 Followers out of the 300 to 1k to engage and be Encouraged by what I post, my Purpose is fulfilled.
