From Trauma to Healing

There are often times when we know there is something we are to begin or start doing and we hesitate due to fear. Not being afraid, but, fearful.

Being afraid and fearful are two different things. Being afraid means you want no part of whatever the issue or situation is, being fearful means you're not sure, but, are willing to face whatever is in front of you. 

This is how we are able to fight, push through, conquer, and heal from our past and/or current trauma's. So many times we don't want to face things due to trauma in our life. We don't want to feel, or, deal with that type of issue again so we separate ourselves from; people, jobs, business, relationships, ministry, etc. 

Truth of the matter is that we have to address issues in efforts to overcome them, and, allow the better version of ourselves to come forward. 

Yes, some terrible things have happened to us all and there's nothing we can do to change that, but, we can keep them from happening to us and our Loved ones ever again by addressing the trauma(s). Face them head on. Don't turn away from them. Conquer them by addressing them. Then, and only then, does the healing begin. #thatsurthurty
